OurHistory

Before there was Forge Evolution, there was Colorado Springs Teen Court.

Established in 1994 by El Paso County Bar Auxiliary volunteers, Colorado Springs Teen Court has been a proven option for young people who make misdemeanor mistakes.

Since Colorado Springs Teen Court’s founding, it was found that young people and families would benefit from our programming, but Teen Court could only help after an offense occurred.

As of May 01, 2021, Colorado Springs Teen Court became one of three programs housed under our organization, Forge Evolution.

In expanding our scope, we embraced a new perspective of supporting young people and families before trouble occurred. Now, parents, schools, and other partners can refer young people to Forge Evolution before or after getting in trouble, that way all young people can benefit from our trauma-informed, restorative justice-based programming that sets participants up for health and success in Colorado Springs and beyond.
